Large 18th Century Georgian statuary marble chimneypiece. The deeply moulded and breakfront shelf sits above the frieze centered by a plaque finely carved with flutes and arrows, supported on a plain bollection underfrieze. The plain jambs terminate in well carved acanthus carved end blocks. English. Circa 1780.
