A good example of an antique Edwardian cast iron grate with adjustable canopy and unusual drop down decorative fret, used to rest the iron or kettle upon. Circa 1900.
Pictured with a set of original fireplace tiles, priced separately.

This grate has been finished the traditional black grate polish, leaving a gun metal / pewter shine. Alternative finishes are available, please contact us to discuss any requirements you may have.
The tiles can be changed with others from our collection. we have over 250 sets of genuine antique fireplaces tiles to choose from, so please enquire. The grate can also be supplied without tiles should you wish to provide your own tiles.
Ready to be installed and used for a real coal or log fire this fireplace comes complete with replacement fireback and bottom grate. We can also supply a living flame gas fire to fit this fireplace.
