An unusual early 20th century Edwardian Arts & Crafts canopied cast iron fire grate. The domed cast iron canopy is decorated with a stippled effect and centered with a stylised flower in the Art Nouveau manner. Sweeping shoulders lead down to a rectangular grate with scrolled bars and decorative copper buttons. Circa 1905.
The grate has been finished with traditional black grate polish and is suitable for a solid fuel fire once more. We can also supply a living flame gas fire for this grate too. For sizes please see the size diagram in the image gallery.
