Unusual and large late Victorian aesthetic cast iron fireplace grate with a reeded cast brass frame and canopy. Circa 1890. Pictured with a set of original antique fireplace tiles, These tiles have now sold, but we have over 200 sets of original fireplace tiles available to choose from.

The cast iron has been finished with traditional black grate polish, leaving a gunmetal sheen. The grate is supplied with a  new clay fireback and cast iron stool grate giving a generous sized grate to burn coal or logs. We can also supply a living flame gas fire for this grate, please enquire for more details.
