An antique George III Carrara marble fireplace surround of modest proportions. The generous shelf sits above a reeded frieze which terminates at two end blocks, each carved with with a four petal flower. These carved capitals sit above Doric columns which stand freely in front of the plain jambs with further reeding to the chamfered outside fillets. Circa 1820.
