A large Antique Victorian cast iron combination fireplace. The richly decorated frieze bears a recessed panel filled with intricate relief work including a stylaised urn to the centre and scrolls and foliage. The frieze is flanked by square capitals with further panels and urns filled with fruit. The jambs are fluted and topped with a deep rosette.
Circa 1890.
Finished with traditional black grate polish and supplied with a new clay fireback and cast iron bottom grate ready for a solid fuel fire once more.
