Set of Victorian Black and White transfer tiles made by Minton China Works. Circa 1875. Designed by John Moyr Smith they depict Shakespearian scenes, The Tempest, Macbeth, The Twelfth Night, King Lear, Cymbeline, Antony & Cleopatra, The Taming of the Shrew, and Timon of Athens.
In excellent condition with no noticeable surface marks. There is a small chip to the top left of the Timon of Athens tile, but this will be covered once fitted in a fireplace as intended.
