Unusual late Victorian cast iron combination grate in the aesthetic manner the decoration resembling Gaelic symbols. Circa 1890.

Restored with a traditional black grate inner and the surround has been sprayed with a high quality universal primer ready for you to paint in your choice of colour once installed.

By far and away the most interesting and unique part of this fireplace is the small clay fire brick in the back, which when being made some 130 years ago a cheeky cat walked all over leaving tiny paw prints! See the final image.
